Thermador MB30WS
Put the MB30WS beside the MB30WP and the outline is the same: a 30-inch drop-down door, an interior of 1.6 cu. ft., and a 1750-watt output on 120V/15A, all confirmed on Thermador’s product page. Only the Masterpiece styling and panel differ from the Professional collection’s touchscreen.
Common construction brings common habits. The drop-down door that fails to seat flush, the keypad that goes quiet after steam, and the turntable drive that wears until food spins unevenly or not at all, all apply equally here, so we work through them in the same order on either model.
For a quiet keypad, Thermador’s own fix is to dry the panel and cycle power at the breaker. Anything that shows a numeric error code should be noted and passed on when you arrange a visit, because the code shortens our search considerably.
Rarely. They share a cavity, door design and control platform, so the same failure patterns and checks apply. The Masterpiece panel styling is the main thing that differs.
The turntable drive: its motor, the coupler, or the roller ring. Any of them can wear and leave food stationary or spinning erratically, and each is a modest repair once identified.
Try drying the panel, then switch off the breaker for a minute and restore power. This is Thermador's documented fix for condensation-related keypad problems. If it does not respond afterward, we should look.
