F6 on an older ESC30 or GSC30 range tells you the control stopped receiving its line-cycle signal, the 60-cycle power timing it uses, for a full minute. The legacy document treats it as minor: the Cancel key resets it. Newer Thermador ovens use F6 differently, so this reading is only for the older 30-inch ranges.
1. Press Cancel to reset the display. 2. Reset the clock if it shows the wrong time. 3. If F6 returns often, note when it happens, for example after a power flicker. 4. Call us if it keeps coming back, and tell us how often.
The legacy document says the Cancel key resets it, so a single appearance is minor. Repeats are worth a call so a technician can look further.
A momentary loss of the timing signal fits the description, but the source only names the missing signal. We cannot say more from the code alone.
Usually it returns to normal use after the reset. If it does not, tell us what the display shows when you call so we can plan the visit.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
