Induction is the whole story on the PRI30LBHU, Thermador’s Liberty Professional Range at 30 inches, from the standard-depth Pro Harmony family. Over its 4.4 cu ft oven lies a frameless black glass cooktop with a pair of extra-large flexible zones. Nothing burns here, so a “won’t heat” report points to cooktop electronics and sensor coils, though HeatShift zone-to-zone logic can come into it.
The range is Home Connect WiFi-enabled, so we separate early on whether a customer’s complaint is the app not responding or the range itself misbehaving. Those are different problems with different fixes.
Eight cooking modes, True Convection, a TFT display, and a mix of Self Clean and partial catalytic cleaning are all in play on the oven. If a clean cycle will not finish, we check both cleaning modes rather than assume one fixed cycle.
All electric. Induction is the only cooking surface, with no gas burners or igniters anywhere, so a heating problem is an electrical or coil matter, never a gas supply one.
Not necessarily. WiFi connectivity is separate from the cooking functions. Try the physical controls on the burners and oven first to see whether the range itself works.
It handles heat transfer between the cooktop's flexible zones when you move a pan. If that behaves oddly, we test the zones separately. Separating the two early keeps us from replacing parts that are working.
