Four pounds of ice every 24 hours is the published rating of the T24ID800LP, higher than the 2 lbs of its 900 successor in the right-hand version. It is an 800-series freezer column, left-hinged, with a water filter and SuperFreeze for quick-freezing.
If the ice comes up short we time a harvest cycle and compare it with that rating. We check the fill valve, the filter, the bin and freezer temperature, and the door gasket for frost. A freezer that never gets to setpoint gets a defrost and fan check as well.
Since the 900 has a different ice rating, we do not assume parts or specs carry across, and we read the data plate first.
