In Thermador’s freezer column range, the T30IF905SP is the mid-size choice. At 30 inches wide with 15.8 cu ft gross, it can hold a kitchen’s frozen food by itself instead of just backing up a refrigerator column. The stainless liner, metal-rail door bins, SuperFreeze quick-freeze function and Free Flow Cold Air System also appear in the 18- and 24-inch versions.
Its calls resemble those of the smaller freezers. If ice falls below the 3.3 lb per 24 hours rating, a water supply or filter problem is more likely than a dead maker. A freezer whose compressor runs normally but cannot hold temperature leads us to the door seal, evaporator frost or refrigerant charge.
