Thermador T48BT122NS
This is the model Thermador lists as the successor to the T48BT120NS. Same 47 1/4 inch cabinet and the same 6-lb ice bin on paper, so a kitchen being updated can slot it into an existing 48-inch opening. For the owner, the meaningful change is the part number, and for us it decides which gaskets and boards we bring.
On the first visit we gather a short history: when did the complaint start, was the filter changed, did the cabinet lose power. Those answers narrow the diagnosis before a tool comes out. We then test cooling on both compartments, and the water line and filter if ice is involved.
With two wide doors, we also run a quick alignment check on the hinges and center seam, which tells us whether any later complaint comes from the door.
We confirm part numbers against your cabinet label before ordering, so you do not pay for the wrong part. We bring the right gaskets and boards on the first visit when we can.
The cartridge may be misseated, or the O-ring may be worn. We reseat it, replace the ring if needed and test for leaks. We also check the filter date.
It ends on its own after its cycle. If it does not end, we check the control and sensors. It is a good habit to let it finish its own cycle.
