Johnson Development Corp. created Woodforest, a 3,000-acre master-planned community of south Montgomery County centered on the Woodforest Golf Club. Construction started in late 2007, and a link to neighboring communities, the Fish Creek Thoroughfare, opened in 2009.

Most houses date from the late 2000s and come from builders such as Perry Homes, Highland Homes, David Weekley and Lennar. They include family homes near Stewart Elementary, golf course lots and the Bonterra 55-plus section, with parks, an amenity center and shops in the plan. Each section has its own entrances.
Woodforest MUD 113 has no wells. Mid-South Synergy sells it water, and Mid-South belongs to the San Jacinto River Authority's groundwater reduction plan, so homes get groundwater blended with treated surface water from Lake Conroe. Your bill shows your district.
Wooded tracts of generous size lie between neighborhoods. Pine pollen settles on outdoor surfaces each spring, covering range hood vent caps and refrigerator grilles, and cleaning both in late spring keeps them performing into the hot months. Wiping or vacuuming both takes only minutes.
Most homes came with builder stainless packages. Owners of the larger houses commonly add built-in refrigeration, gas cooktops, wall ovens and ventilation hoods later, which is where our Thermador work comes in.
Woodforest sits just north of The Woodlands, close to FM 1488 and FM 2978, and our appointments here are the day after you call. When you phone, name your section, because sections are separate neighborhoods with their own entrances. A gate or amenity-center landmark helps us find the entrance.
A builder’s or manufacturer’s warranty may still cover appliances in these homes. If yours is under a year or two old, read the warranty papers first; that coverage might pay for the repair. Receipts and model numbers kept together make any repair faster, and a photo of the rating label from the day the appliance arrived is easy to retrieve later.

Mid-South Synergy sells water to Woodforest MUD 113, mixing groundwater with treated surface water from Lake Conroe. If you live in a different Woodforest district, your bill will say so.
