Thermador Induction Cooktop F0 Error Code (MoveMode)

What F0 means

MoveMode lets you slide a pan from one zone to another while the cooktop follows it, and F0 means that tracking feature is not available at the moment. Thermador documents it for induction cooktops. The ordinary cooking zones are not what is reported, so the cooktop keeps working as a normal fixed-zone surface. The cooktop itself remains usable.

F0F0 questions

Am I able to keep cooking while F0 is shown?

Yes. Use the standard fixed cooking zones as always. Only the pan-following MoveMode feature is unavailable until it is looked at. Only the pan-following convenience is paused until someone looks at it.

Does F0 mean one of my zones is broken?

No. The message points at the tracking function, not the heating zones beneath it, which continue to respond to their controls. Each zone keeps responding to its own control as it always did.

Is this urgent?

Not usually. Because everyday cooking is unaffected, you can schedule the check at a convenient time and describe exactly when MoveMode stopped responding. Describe when MoveMode last responded and what you were cooking.
