This is the wider sibling of the 30″ Masterpiece pyramid hood, and the extra six inches matter: at 35 15/16″ wide it covers a 36″ range or cooktop edge to edge, so the burners on the outside are the ones that tell us whether the draw is right. A range with heavy griddle use leaves the filters at the corners saturated first.
On arrival we check the wall-to-chimney fit, the duct connection above the canopy, and whether the hood was left in ducted or recirculation configuration. Then comes the damper, the four fan speeds, and the touch panel. A hood this size has a longer LED run, so lighting problems are more often a connector than a bulb.
Hood Sync and automatic mode depend on the connection to an induction cooktop; if they stop responding we confirm the network and pairing before we look at hardware. Any part is quoted in writing before work begins.
With a longer LED run the cause is often a loose connector or one failed module. We test the circuit section by section, then price the specific part before replacing it.

Yes. A damper that does not swing open fully makes the blower work against it. We free or replace it and check the duct for other restrictions.
