Thermador PH36GWT
Thermador’s own site now says the PH36GWT is no longer available, so most of the PH36GWT hoods we see were put in some years ago over a 36″ pro-style range. Hoods of this age have carried grease for a long time, and that is where our work begins.
At 27″ deep, the canopy reaches farther forward than the 24″ PH36HWS, which was chosen to give extra capture over deep range tops. We check mounting height against the 30″ requirement, then the damper, the duct and the baffle filters. The lighting is a Cold White 4.000 K type, so replacement lamps and modules need to be matched by color as well as fit.
Because the model is discontinued, we identify parts by the label inside the hood before we quote, and we tell you in writing what is available. If a part cannot be sourced, we say so before any work is done.
Often yes, especially filters, lights and common wearing parts, but it varies. We read your label, check availability and give you a written price before ordering.
This model uses Cold White 4.000 K lighting, which is cooler than a warm bulb. If the color or brightness has changed noticeably, we test the lamp and driver.
When the housing and motor are sound, repair is usually reasonable. We tell you honestly what we find and what each option costs. The decision stays with you.
