Thermador T23IR900SP
The T23IR900SP is the narrowest fridge column in this batch, designed to sit next to a freezer column in an 84-inch tall run. With no freezer or ice maker inside, nothing in it is complicated: a fan, a damper, a thermistor, a door switch and the seal.
That simplicity is why we test by elimination. Reading the temperature at each shelf shows whether the fan is moving air, then the damper and sensor are exercised. Three glass shelves and three door bins can be overfilled, blocking air.
The data plate is the reference we use, since the 23 and 24 series look alike but are different cabinets.
The successor is T23IR905SP per the manufacturer. A written price comes first, followed by a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Overcooling from a sensor or damper. We test and recalibrate, and check that items are not placed directly in front of the cold air vent.
We exit the mode using the control sequence and test the display and alarm, then confirm all functions return to normal operation.
Yes, we reseat the supports or replace the shelf if it is cracked, and check the load so the shelves stay level.
