The display on a TCM24TS or TCM24PS asks you to refill with still water or remove the filter. The manual lists several reasons: the water tank is inserted wrongly, there is carbonated water in the tank, the float is stuck, a new filter was not rinsed or is defective, or there is air in the filter. Most are things you can check at the tank.
1. Remove the tank and empty it. 2. Refill it with fresh tap water, never sparkling water. 3. Check that the float moves freely and the tank is seated properly. 4. Rinse the filter and dip it in water until bubbles stop. 5. Reinsert everything and try again. If it persists, call us.
Carbonated water in the tank is one of the reasons listed in the manual. Use fresh tap water instead, since bubbles can confuse the water level detection.
Air trapped in the filter can trigger the message. The manual says to dip the filter in water until the bubbles stop, then insert it again.
Yes. A new filter that was not rinsed is one of the reasons the message appears. Follow the rinse instructions in your manual, and replace it if the filter seems defective.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
