Drawing only 500 W on a 15 A circuit, the PRG366GH is a lean machine: the electricity runs the controls, the igniters and the convection fan, while gas does all the heating. That is also why a failure is almost always one of three things, an igniter that glows weakly, a fan that has slowed, or a burner port that is blocked.
The 5.0 cu ft oven has just three modes, Bake, Convection Bake and Broil, so a call usually narrows fast. If Bake is slow but Broil is normal, we suspect the bake igniter or the valve it opens. If Convection Bake is uneven, the fan comes first.
Six burners and 155,000 BTU is a lot of heat to feed, and the range is only 24 3/4 inches deep, so it sits close to the cabinets. Thermador lists it as no longer available, with PRG366WH named as the successor.
The bake igniter may be weak and slow to open the gas valve. We measure its current draw and inspect the burner for debris. A new igniter often restores normal preheat times.
A faint hum is normal, but clicking suggests a loose blade, a worn bearing or an object in the fan housing. We inspect and, if needed, replace the motor.
It is rated at 120 V, 500 W and 15 A, since gas does the heating. We still inspect the plug and outlet, because a poor connection affects ignition and controls.
