Within this family, the T36IB100SP is the 36-inch single-door bottom-freezer. Its total of 18.8 cu ft, made of 12.7 cu ft refrigerator and 6.1 cu ft freezer, equals that of the French-door T36IT100NP, yet the fresh-food side has one full-width door instead of two. At about 527 lb, the hinge carries a heavy load, so a worn hinge or an unlevel cabinet bothers this unit more than narrower columns.
As with the 30-inch T30IB102SP, the water dispenser and the 4.5 lb per 24 hours ice maker sit behind the fresh-food door and not in an external chute. Complaints about the dispenser therefore usually come down to the filter cartridge, the refill presets or plumbing inside.
Drawer sealing is the other frequent topic. Either a worn gasket or a drawer that does not shut completely shows up as frost, or as a freezer warmer than its set point while the fresh-food side is fine.
