Thermador T24ID800RP
Compared with the 18-inch dispenser column, the T24ID800RP is wider and holds 11.3 cubic feet. It suited households wanting door ice and water without surrendering freezer space. Thermador’s design guide gives it the same dispenser package as the smaller column, including the rapid water replenishment system, which keeps chilled water on hand.
A dispenser column breaks down in ways a plain freezer never does. When the chute flap sticks open, kitchen humidity reaches the ice bin and the cubes clump, which is behind many E33 reports. If water drips after a pour, trapped air from a recent filter change is a likelier cause than a leaking valve.
We also look for a blocked UltraClarity filter when flow is weak, and for panel adjustment that has moved and left a gap beside the dispenser.
Air caught after a filter change forces out small amounts. Pour until the stream runs steady and the air clears. The dripping should stop; if not, the valve and line get a look.
The IF and ID guides ask for a change at least every 6 months, earlier if the display calls for it. An old cartridge slows flow even when the display stays quiet, so the interval matters.
That is the T24ID800LP, the same column mirrored. Mention it when you book so the right door parts come along. The layout is otherwise the same.
