Thermador T24UW915LS
Of the Freedom under-counter wine coolers in this width, the T24UW915LS is the stainless-faced, left-hinged one. Without a panel, the stainless door is part of the room, which suits an open kitchen or a bar, and it carries 41 bottles on six shelves in two zones.
On service we look at how the bottles are arranged. A full load on the full-extension racks can slow airflow and push one zone out of range, and the wenge dowels can catch a bottle neck if the rack is misaligned. If the load is fine, we test the zone sensors and the fan, then the door seal.
UV resistant glass is on this door, but it is not impact proof. We handle it carefully when the door needs to come off, and the hinge side is clearly marked for left-hand swing.
Use a soft cloth and a mild cleaner without ammonia. We can show you how to protect the finish and the gasket. Never use abrasive pads on the glass or frame.
They pull out completely so a bottle can be reached without reaching deep. They also need clean, aligned slides, which we check during service. A dirty or bent slide is the most common reason for sticking.
Zones are meant to differ, but they should follow the settings. If readings are off from the display, we test the sensors and the airflow baffle.
