Thermador T30IF100SP
At 29 3/4 inches wide, the T30IF100SP is the middle freezer in the column family, and it often pairs with a 30-inch refrigerator column to form a 5-foot wall of cold storage. The two doors share a panel line, so a shifted freezer door shows in the seam between the columns.
For service, we start by finding out whether the complaint is about ice or about temperature. Ice is a water and mold job: supply valve, filter, fill tube, mold heater. Temperature is airflow and defrost: the Free Flow cold air path, the evaporator and the sensors. EcoMode and SuperFreeze can mask each other, so we check which one is active.
We also check the leveling feet, because a column this tall that leans forward will not seal at the bottom.
SuperFreeze runs the freezer colder for a set period to freeze loads quickly. If it never ends or never starts, we test the control and sensors. We also confirm the cabinet is not warm to the touch around the vents.
It is sized to pair with other Freedom columns in a matching panel line. We keep the panels aligned when we adjust either door. We also compare the reveal at the seam to confirm both doors sit square.
The listing quotes 2.4 lbs per 24 hours, so a full 3 lb bin takes about a day and a quarter. If it takes much longer, we test the supply and mold.
