Thermador Legacy CT/CMT Wall Oven E7: Illegal Temperature Display

What E7 means

E7 tells you the Dreefs control on an older Thermador CT or CMT oven produced an illegal temperature reading. The first table says to turn the oven off and try again. A second page names the control board, says the error stays on the display and the oven is unusable. Heat shuts off in the failed oven only, and a mode change clears the message when it is a one-time event.
