E011 on a legacy Thermador Masterpiece built-in steam and convection oven, the MES301HS or MES301HP, means a touchpad was pressed for too long or has become stuck. The instruction manual treats it as a low-level message. You clear it with the settings dial, then press each touchpad one at a time to find a pad that is dirty or sticking.
1. Turn the settings dial to clear the message. 2. With the oven off and cool, wipe the touchpads with a soft damp cloth and dry them. 3. Press each pad one at a time and watch the display. 4. If E011 returns for the same pad, note which pad and call us.
Per the manual, turn the settings dial. That removes the message. Then press each touchpad individually to see whether one is stuck or dirty. Our technician confirms this on your own unit.
It is a low-severity message. Often it is a pad held down or soiled. If it keeps returning, the panel needs service. No part is ordered before you approve the written quote.
It can interrupt a program until you clear it. After clearing, test the pads. If one still sticks, book a visit before relying on a long steam cycle.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
