Thermador T23IR905SP
It is easy to confuse the T23IR905SP with the T24IR905SP, and a single Thermador guide serves both. This is the slimmer body, 23 1/4 inches across to the other’s 23 3/4, enough to slip into an opening where the 24-inch column fits too tightly. Thermador says it is no longer available, but the support pages and documents stay online with the other 905 columns.
The drawers inside are ThermaFresh Pro, each with independent climate control, and the column connects through Home Connect Wi-Fi and has a Star-K certified Sabbath mode. With so little clearance around the body, a panel that touches the neighboring cabinet can stop the door from closing completely and start the continuous-tone alarm. We look at panel clearance first, then the drawers and the network pairing.
Not safely. This body runs half an inch slimmer, which changes how the custom panel is cut and which openings suit the column, so the two models are not interchangeable without measuring.
With Sabbath mode on, no. The guide from Thermador explains that this mode silences all acoustic signals, and it also turns off the ice maker, the interior light and the display messages.
Pair the column once more with the new network. Cooling carries on in the meantime, because the connection only adds remote alerts and control, and the app setup takes only minutes.
