Refrigerator and freezer share a single 24-inch under-counter opening in the T24UC925DS, one drawer for each, with a filtered automatic ice maker. With four cooling modes, each drawer can be given its own job, and the unit also has soft-closing action and an alarm for an open door.
The drawers can trade jobs, so when one runs warmer than you expect, we ask which mode it was given. A lower drawer that refuses to freeze has very often been set to refrigerate. The ice maker is the next topic, because its water line has to be routed through tight under-counter space, and a kinked or pinched line there is a common reason ice never appears. Frost in the freezer drawer suggests a gasket that has not seated, and a tall item in either drawer sets off the open alarm.
Each drawer can be set on its own through the four cooling modes. Your manual lists the combinations your model allows, and on a visit we confirm them against the controls before changing anything.
Make sure the water supply valve is open, then follow the line beneath the counter looking for a kink or a pinch. Those two causes explain most new installations that never produce ice.
Damp air entering where a gasket fails to seat. Reseating or replacing the gasket stops the supply, and the old frost can then be cleared.
