Thermador T24UW905LP
Dual-zone storage in a 24-inch under-counter case is what the T24UW905LP is for: reds in one zone, whites or sparkling in the other, up to 41 bottles total. Because it is panel ready, the door usually wears a custom front, and the glass and the cabinet need careful handling when we remove it.
We always begin with the two zones. A wine owner will tell us that one zone feels wrong, and our job is to test each zone sensor, the fan that moves air between them and the board that keeps them separate. Vibration is the next consideration: bottles on full-extension racks magnify any hum from the cooling system.
Door weight comes into play with a panel, so we check the SoftClose arm and the gasket before we leave. If you are in the middle of a cellar rotation, tell us, and we plan around what is inside.
That is exactly what two zones are for, each with its own temperature setting. If the zones drift to the same temperature, we test the sensor and the divider airflow.
Not always. For hinge or lighting work we can work around a full load, but for sealed-system work we recommend moving bottles to a cool place.
Vibration from the fan or an unlevel cabinet can set up a buzz. We check leveling and the fan mounts, and adjust the dowels. We tighten the dowel mounts as needed.
