Thermador T36FT820NS
Most Thermador refrigerators disappear into cabinetry, but the T36FT820NS stands on its own. It is a French-door model with the freezer below, standing 72 inches high and a little under 28 inches front to back. Inside you find a water dispenser filtered by UltraClarityPro, plus the Free Flow air circulation and the LED theater lights of the built-in line.
Because no cabinet opening encloses it, the refrigerator depends on free room around its body to get rid of heat. Dust on the condenser, which sits low and draws floor-level air, is the first maintenance item we look at when run times lengthen. Floors that are not level come second: they pull the doors out of line so that they no longer meet evenly. A weak stream from the dispenser usually points to an expired filter, and missing app alerts mean the Wi-Fi link needs pairing again.
No cabinet is needed, but the installation guide still specifies clearance for ventilation around the sides and top, so we measure those gaps whenever a unit seems to run for long stretches.
Thermador lists an UltraClarityPro filter for this model. When the filter reaches the end of its life, the stream from the dispenser grows noticeably weaker, and replacing it normally restores the flow.
On a freestanding unit the floor decides how level it sits. If the floor slopes or has settled, the doors drift, and adjusting the feet is usually the cure.
