Thermador TCM24TS (Non-Plumbed)
On the TCM24TS, a removable water reservoir stands in for plumbing; this is the non-plumbed version of Thermador’s 24-inch built-in coffee machine. With no water line involved, most calls that are not electronic come down to how the reservoir sits and how full it is, or to descaling that has fallen behind. Both are worth checking before anyone suspects the control board.
It behaves like the plumbed TCM24PS in two documented ways, since both share a core control platform: a display that resets to 12:00 after power loss, and the general E0510 error. We start every visit with those, then move to the reservoir and the descaling cycle. Reservoir problems usually show up as weak or interrupted brewing, and a descaling cycle that cannot finish is a sign that maintenance has slipped.
Brewing relies on the reservoir seating correctly. A poorly seated one can interrupt water flow, so seat it firmly and try again. If it still brews poorly after reseating, we check the reservoir seal and sensor.
Thermador's own guidance covers descaling. When the cycle will not complete, that is a reason to call us. A cycle that never finishes is a good moment to book a visit.
Yes. Both machines share the same core control platform, so E0510 means the same general error on each. Either way the on-screen steps come first, and a repeat is worth a visit.
