Open the PRG364GDH’s installation manual and you will see one book for both 30” and 36” units of a single generation, listing relatives such as PRG304GH, PRL304GH, PRL364GDH, and PRG366GH. Thermador made it as a 36-inch Pro Harmony range burning gas on top and in the oven, and today’s PRG364WDH and PRG366WH descend from it. Underneath, the control and ignition design is earlier.
There is no Home Connect app to consult, so we rely on what can be seen: which burner will not light, whether the oven igniter glows without opening the gas valve, and whether bake and broil temperatures follow the dial. Over time, gaskets, knobs, and display parts tend to show their age too.
Should a burner or the oven fail to light reliably and you smell gas, close the range’s gas valve before anything else. That rule is the same no matter how old the range is.
No. The PRG364WDH came later and replaced it. The older range has its own control and ignition design and no Home Connect connection at all.
Do not keep retrying. The igniter may not be getting hot enough to open the gas valve, or the valve may not be opening, and either needs a technician.
Thermador's installation manual covers it and its siblings. A technician works from the model number to identify exact parts. Please do not force the oven to heat while the igniter is glowing without a flame.
