Dishes come out damp at the end of the cycle and E2120 is displayed. Thermador documents this code as a problem with the heater in the Zeolite (Crystal Dry) chamber. That chamber is the part of the drying system that uses mineral material, so a heater that fails there takes the drying stage with it.
1. Turn the breaker for the dishwasher off. 2. Wait thirty seconds. 3. Restore power and let the control start up. 4. Run a short cycle and check for the code. If it returns, leave the machine alone and call us with the model number.
It is Thermador's mineral-based drying technology. This code only applies to models that have that feature, so a model without it will not show E2120.
That may help a little in the meantime, but it does not address the failed heater. It is a stopgap while you wait for a repair.
Not necessarily. The code names the heater, so we test that part first and quote only what the test shows, in writing, before we do the work.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
