E3300 and E3400 are listed together by Thermador with a single explanation: the filling system is not taking in water as intended. Compared with E3200, where the level merely ended up short, this pair says the intake itself is obstructed or not occurring. The wash cannot begin, and the number stays up. The wash cannot begin until water enters, so the number remains on the display.
1. Examine the inlet hose along its length for a bend or damage. 2. Make sure the supply valve is open. 3. If you spot dripping, close the supply. Those steps are the full extent of what Thermador publishes for owners, so if both look fine, call us.
Thermador combines them, so the opening checks are identical. The distinction mostly helps whoever reads the board, not whoever checks the hose. Ask us anything that is unclear before work starts.
It might, and once the hose and valve are cleared, it is a sensible place to look. A clogged screen limits flow just as a bent hose does.
It deserves extra caution. The owner manual describes E3400 as water flowing in without stopping, so shut off the supply first. Please read that entry separately.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
