The cycle will not carry on and the display reads E:07. On Sapphire and Emerald dishwashers such as the DWHD650W, DWHD660W, DWHD770W Star Sapphire, DWHD870W and DWHD560C, the manual ties this message to the intake opening on the right inside wall being covered by dishes. It is a loading problem first, not a broken part. Once the opening is clear, the machine can be started again.
1. Press Cancel or switch the dishwasher off and wait until the spray has stopped. 2. Open the door and look at the right inside wall for the intake opening. 3. Move any dishware away from it so nothing touches or covers it. 4. Shut the door and start the cycle again. If E:07 returns with the opening clear, stop there and call us.
Usually not. The manual points to dishes covering the intake opening on the right inside wall, and rearranging the load is the remedy. It only becomes a service matter if the message returns after the opening is clear.
The Sapphire and Emerald models listed in the manual, among them the DWHD650W, DWHD660W, DWHD770W, DWHD870W and DWHD560C, show E:xx on the display. If yours differs, send the model number and we will confirm the meaning.
Check which item sits against the right wall, since tall platters or cutting boards often creep toward it. If the opening is genuinely clear every time, tell us and we will inspect the machine itself.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
