Four-digit boards use E6102 for a drainage complaint. The reassuring part is that Thermador's owner manual lists it under causes that do not involve a broken appliance: a drain pump cover left unsnapped after cleaning, or a hard object lodged in the pump. In many homes, the cure is a few minutes at the sump.
1. Turn the dishwasher off. 2. Take out the filter, lift off the drain pump cover and remove any standing water and debris. 3. Push the cover down until you hear a click; one that merely rests in place is the classic reason this returns. 4. Inspect the drain hose for a sharp bend and clean the airgap if yours has one.
Not really. It just means the usual triggers are outside the machine's own parts, which is encouraging because those are also the ones you can look at.
A click. A cover that drops into place silently has not latched, and the machine will go on displaying the same number. This is routine for a technician.
Then the pump or its wiring is next. Please stop running cycles and call us, and we will test before quoting any repair in writing.
Our technician checks it in your home and hands you a written price before touching anything.
