This Masterpiece steam tower, the MEDS302WS, is built around two 2.8 cu. ft. ovens that can both steam. The upper cavity offers 17 modes, from Air Fry to Rotisserie, and the lower 16 with a Steaming Level. Steam Auto Programs let the oven choose time and temperature, which makes accuracy in the sensors and water delivery especially important.
The first thing we ask is how hard the water is and when the system was last descaled, because scale is the most common reason steam falters. After that comes the water path: tank, pump, valves and the steam heater. MEDS302BS is the listed successor.
Steam also stresses door seals, so a leaky gasket shows up as water on the front. Once water is handled we test fan and elements, then the probe and Wi-Fi. The 8350 watt, 40 amp supply is checked as part of any visit. A written quote comes before any part is ordered.
Typically the door seal is not holding steam, or the drip path is blocked. We inspect the gasket and clear the path, which is usually simpler than replacing major parts.
They use sensor readings and controlled steam delivery. If either is off, the program times can be wrong. We verify temperature and steam output before blaming the program itself.
Thermador lists it as the successor. We would confirm the cutout size, the electrical rating and the water connections on site before suggesting that it fits your cabinet.
