Thermador DWHD660WFP (Professional Collection)
Spec for spec, the 660WFP is the DWHD660WFM: 16 settings, 44 dBA, condensation drying and a built-in softener. Only the door hardware changes, with Thermador’s Professional handle in place of the fixed bar. Both have since been withdrawn, as have the other W-series models.
So the service plan is shared too. We take drainage and inflow codes straight from Thermador’s documented table. Softener performance gets handled as a routine item early on, because weak softening is easy to mistake for a wash-system problem in the machine itself. Only when that is cleared do we go deeper.
If you are weighing whether to keep an older unit, ask us for the written price before any work. It covers the repair itself and whether the needed parts can be found. We explain each finding before quoting, and our own 30-day workmanship warranty applies to the repair itself.
No. The handle is cosmetic hardware. The wash, drain and softener systems match those of the Masterpiece bar-handle version, so the work is identical. Both finishes get the same steps in the same order. Both versions get the same diagnosis, in the same order, and the same written price comes first.
Thermador's site no longer states a production window. The rating plate and serial number on your own unit reveal when it was manufactured, if that matters. If the date matters for parts, that plate is the first place to look.
Weak softening produces cloudy glass and dull results that resemble a wash problem. Ruling it out costs little and takes minutes, so it goes first.
