What E0107 means

A relay is a small electrically operated switch that lets the board feed a pump, heater or valve. When the board concludes one of them no longer opens and closes properly, the cycle ends and E0107 is displayed. Thermador describes it in exactly the same words as E0103, so both are relay trouble on the main control board.

Usual causes of E0107

  • A relay contact on the main board that has burned or fused together
  • A relay coil that fails to pull in when the board calls for it
  • A board-level error picked up while the relays are being supervised
✓ A safe check worth trying

1. Switch off the dishwasher's breaker. 2. Count thirty seconds. 3. Switch the breaker back on and let the display come up. This single power-down is all Thermador suggests before service. Should E0107 show again, do not repeat the exercise; call us.

! Why you should stop here
  • A relay stuck closed may keep a part powered when the board believes it is off, so testing with a meter is the responsible route.
  • Replacement boards are paired with the model and its software; buying one on speculation can leave the original problem untouched.
Taking off a panel yourself does not by default void a manufacturer warranty, yet it can lead to accidental damage, and some manufacturers attach their own service terms. Read your warranty paperwork, or ask us, before you decide.

E0107E0107 questions
Why would E0103 and E0107 carry the same description?

Thermador files both under a single relay entry. Which of the two you see likely follows from the relay channel the board happened to be checking at the time.

It went away after the reset, then returned. What does that tell us?

It tells us a restart is only masking the cause. Thermador's advice stops at one power cycle, and a repeat means the relay or board needs to be examined.

What does the repair involve?

We test the relay outputs, decide whether one relay or the whole board has failed, and send you the price in writing first. Our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
