Thermador DWHD440MPR (Panel-Ready)
Fitted behind a cabinet panel from the same era, the 440MPR is the fully integrated variant of Thermador’s legacy 24-inch dishwasher. Its 15 settings, condensation drying and lack of a softener match the MFM and MFP versions.
With installations this old, the panel mount and hinge tension are the first things we test when a door will not seal, because loosened hardware is common long before anything inside fails. After that, drain and inflow problems are read from the display code in the same manner as on the finished-front models of this generation, and scale is checked wherever the water is hard.
Photos of the panel edge and the gap around it, sent when you book, can tell us a lot before we arrive. A written price comes first, and the repair is covered by our own 30-day workmanship warranty. Measurements of the cabinet opening are useful if replacement is ever discussed.
It varies. Look into current supply for this exact model before taking for granted that a kit exists or does not. We can look into it when you book, so you know before deciding anything about the panel.
Cutouts and panel sizes are not always identical from one generation to the next. Compare your opening with the new model's installation specifications first. A like-for-like swap is not guaranteed, and measuring first can save a good deal of cabinet work.
A door that hangs unevenly cannot compress its seal. Adjusting the hinge or the panel mount often restores a good seal. That is why a hinge or panel mount adjustment so often cures a leak at the door.
