Thermador DWHD650WFM
The 650W is an Emerald tier machine with a third-rack utensil drawer, so it tends to live in kitchens where cutlery and long tools get their own tray. Underneath, the wash, drain and drying systems are those used across Thermador’s Radiance Collection, which keeps the repair approach simple: whatever the display says tells us which subsystem to open.
Two items on this model need separating from the rest. A dark PowerBeam light is a status-lamp matter, not a cleaning-performance one, so we handle it apart from any drain or fill code. PowerBoost refusing to engage on the lower rack is likewise a feature check rather than a sign of drainage trouble. For the drain and fill families we go to the filter, pump and inlet in the usual order.
Rinse debris off it from time to time, as you would the other racks. It has no mechanical system of its own that wears out, so ordinary cleaning is all it calls for.
Not necessarily. Glance at the display or open the Home Connect app to see whether a cycle is actually running before you decide the wash itself has ended or failed to begin.
The problem is limited to the lower rack option, so we test that feature specifically. A drain or inflow code is a separate matter and receives its own diagnosis.
