Take the PRG366WG’s six-burner idea, fit it into a Pro Harmony body only 24 3/4” deep, and the result is the PRG366WH, whose oven shrinks to 4.9 cu ft and whose output dips to 120,000 BTU. Both oven and cooktop burn gas, so we isolate a specific burner or the oven before assuming they share a cause.
The six burners sit under three continuous grates. If one rocks, we check it for warping before drawing conclusions about the burner below.
A frequent report is an oven igniter that glows orange while the main burner never lights. If a burner or the oven keeps refusing to light, and you can smell gas, shut the range’s gas valve before anything else. Calls on older units usually begin at the igniters.
Six burners and gas throughout either way. The WH gets 4.9 cu ft and 120,000 BTU from its 24 3/4'' Pro Harmony body; the WG gets 5.7 cu ft and 127,000 BTU from its deeper Pro Grand body.
Often the igniter is not drawing the current needed to release the safety valve, or the valve is stuck closed. This is work for a technician, not for repeated tries.
Not by itself. A grate that rocks is usually warped or sitting on a bent support, which we inspect before looking at the burner. That is why we check the gas valve before replacing anything.
