Thermador DWHD651JFP (Professional Collection)
Top of the older J-series, the 651JFP builds on the 650JFP with a TurboSpeed 20-minute cycle and the IntensiveZone option. The base is unchanged, with 14 place settings, condensation drying and a softener, but the rating is a little higher at 46 dBA.
A TurboSpeed run that stops short, or a button that will not select it, is a program-selection or control-board matter, so it does not get mixed up with drain or fill. Those two families still follow Thermador’s documented E-series codes, the same on this generation as on today’s line. We read the display before touching anything, and check the softener as the usual quiet culprit on these machines.
A good test before calling is to run a normal cycle. If it drains, fills and finishes without trouble, the fast program is the only suspect and the visit can stay narrow.
It is meant as a quicker option for lightly soiled loads. It does not replace the longer cycles when dishes are heavily soiled. For that reason a short cycle that leaves dishes dirty is usually a loading matter, not a repair.
Sound ratings depend on the pump and insulation package used in a given model year, not on tier alone. The rating plate on your own unit gives the figure that applies.
Unlikely. That behavior points to program selection or the control board. A pump problem would instead appear as a drain code or water left in the tub.
