Thermador DWHD660EFP (Sapphire)
Sapphire sits one step below Star Sapphire in the Radiance Collection and is often the choice for a kitchen where a Professional-handle appliance suite is being matched. Wash, drain and heat-pump drying are shared with its siblings, and ageing tends to appear as a slow drain, a sluggish fill, or a dispenser that stops releasing detergent.
What we like about Thermador’s code scheme is that each number points at a system: drain, inflow, drying or dispensing. So we do not start with a vague hunt. We read the display, then go straight to the matching area. Where the unit carries Crystal Dry drying, the chamber heater and fan motor (E2120/E2130) are treated as their own subsystem, apart from the standard heat pump.
Not necessarily. Your original spec sheet, or the feature list inside the Home Connect app, will say whether yours was configured with it. That answer decides whether the E2120 and E2130 codes can apply to your machine at all.
It points at the detergent dispenser solenoid, the part that lets detergent out at the proper moment in the cycle. When that code appears, we examine the dispenser area rather than the drain or fill circuits.
Thermador documents no such gap. The tiers vary in styling, handle refinements and certain features, so the code on the display decides the repair, not the name printed on the tier.
