Thermador DWHD650WFP (Professional Collection)
Thermador has retired the 650WFP from its previous W-series; the current DWHD6xxE Radiance Collection replaced it on thermador.com. It was the entry model of its generation, with the same 16 settings, 48 dBA and condensation drying as the Masterpiece-collection DWHD660WFM tier, but no softener.
Most of these machines are now well into their service life, so we begin an estimate by confirming that the needed parts can be obtained. That matters because the model is no longer listed for sale. The good news is that the electronic control and error code platform is the one carried into the current line, so drain, inflow and limescale codes still mean what Thermador documents. We read the display first, then check filter, pump, inlet and scale. Owners who still run one often ask whether it is worth the effort. We answer with the code, the parts check and a written price, never with a guess. Bring the model and serial number if you can; they speed up the parts check.
Often yes. Leaving the catalog does not automatically mean parts have vanished. Check stock against your model and serial number before ruling out a repair because of age alone.
This generation runs on the same core control platform as the current line, so its drainage and inflow codes carry the meaning they have on newer machines.
Hard water can leave scale on the heating parts over time. With no softener on board, descaling is the maintenance step that usually pays off most.
